This is probably a dense question, but am I supposed to merge the slides samples into the main Samples folder of Cherry, or should CoreBassCherrySlides live as a separate instrument entirely?

No problem! Just treat it as a separate instrument.

By the way, if you have Mind Control, you can easily set up keyswitches or other criteria to switch between the various CoreBass Cherry libraries in a single MIDI channel.

Me too, although I'd rather see what the rhythm guitar updates are all about sooner than have to wait for this if it's going to add any time to the release date.
