What seems to be PG&E's problem? You've had ongoing problems with outages for some time now.

It's as simple as this: Cheap f**king bastards! Anyways, some of what I'm going through can be seen here http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= I'm not trying to hijack this thread.

I wish these guys had an option like macprovideo where I could get an all access pass monthly (they have so many tuts I could use!)

Hi am here and am a gear-a-holic.

Mrs's birthday this month and still to get her somehing special so ides please...so far my monthly birthdays this year have got out-a-hand so the brakes are now on as she deserves something special for not moaning, whining and still being supportive in her very own words tonight...

''...to make you happy is very expensive, but I love you...''

...this is while I am setting up a set of A7X's, showing her my new DT880 cans which she likes very much and the new Maschine is displaying 'BUSY SEE SOFTWARE' as it spends another few hours scanning all the sample directories!!

So far this year (and I feel sickened by my spending sprees)- Fabfilter collection, TheRocket, TheGlue, Sylenth1, Zebra2.5, Aether2C, Sonalksis Studio 1, delaMancha, Reaper, Scanned synth Pro, Voxengo Elephant, Polyquasher, Z3TA, Steve slate drums + expansions, patch banks (RobLee,Xenos,Lotus ..triple grr), sample packs (driven machines still my favourite followed by WA Drums 1&2).

So in essence I need to be banned (only kidding please) from any web shopping portals with paypal/CC payments/Donation buttons and a top bloke at DV247 (mate if I phone or email you for any more this year please stop doing me those fantastic deals I am at your mercy) and KVR stop doing great deals and group buys.

On the whole I am quitting purchasing anymore (lmfao as if)...so thank you to Bronto, VOS, the free plugin developers for their fantastic efforts in sharing some great sounds and making a sterling effort in what they do...and saving my wallet and marriage.

Peace

PS : Seriously I need help in what to buy my wife apart from jewellery, I need to be creative this year.

Many thanks

Yeah, jewelry is pretty mundane after a while. Does she have a really cool portable -- music and/or video player? How about quality earphones? Too much like gear? Get her a day at a high-end spa in your area. She sounds like someone who deserves a really nice gift -- maybe a romantic dinner at a top-of-the-line restaurant or a weekend somewhere with both great food and a spa.

If she's anything like my wife, she'll love an event much more than a thing. Take her for a quick weekend get away.

Good ideas on the event front, been puzzling on what to do...spa is great idea or a weekend away may fit the bill nicely, then there's musical toys to distract :!

I think you are very brave and honest to tell us. Let us give this guy a hand.

Crowd: Clapping!

The keyboard was for the new computer, which was necessary, which was sonar upgrade (since I does x64 better than cubey) which led to the accidental (but wonderful) discovery of reaper. The piano was a mistake, deep freq was impulsive, ezmix was an attempt (slightly successful) at x64 simple FX, kontakt, RMX sage expander were just too good to pass up. And the jury is still WAY out on the ibanez......that will be another week to make a permanent decision.

See, I'm a good addict, I can justify anything. :D

I promised my wife I wouldn't buy that vintage 1965/1966 Epiphone Casino I've been eyeballing for the past year.

So far so good.
