But one thing, the "setup bar" covers parts, or most of the time the peaks, from the upper wave. maybe an option to hide this "setup bar"?

And "steps" for the wave gain slider would be really handy too (to get the same zoom level for two waves)

oh and the grid is biased by latency correction, so if you have a high latency due to a impulse response plugin or something, the beat is off the grid.

easy test, ableton and add 200 ms to the track delay.

that's all I found :)
in regards to 1.: i thought about an auto-hide-feature (like on the windows taskbar or the mac os dock). If you look carefully at the screenshots on the webpage you can see, that all waveform-levels are carefully crafted so that the problem never occurs ;). I guess auto-hide it will be.

2. I think it would be better to have a enter-exact-value option or something like this. Not really sure what to do...

3.: maybe the VST SDK gives a hint about the current latency. i could correct for that... It quite annoys me, that the Latency is also noticeable when you chain multiple instances of OMS.

thermal wrote:THANK YOU SO MUCH for this amazing tool! it is exactly what i need, very well designed, perfect :)

it seems fine in cubase 4.5 after a quick test. only problem is when you select and manipulate the resizing icon in the bottom right hand corner, it resizes only within its own fixed size window. when you make the image larger than the window and let go of the mouse the resizing icon is gone as it is out of the plugin window. no way of changing it back now.

this is a minor niggle! it is a FANTASTIC tool, thank you for making it free.
hmmm cubase... Do you know of any Plugin that supports Resizable Windows that work with cubase?

If i had a demo (or something) i could test compatibility, but while that's not the case my hands are tied...

they should lock in the middle when clicking & pressing STRG!

also the gain fader should show the exact same amplitude alike in the DAW (in the middle position.)
Guess you're right. currently the positioning of the fade-handle is linear, it should be log-style, like the one in DAWs, musical Instruments and everything else that involves a db scale. Note that for example VLC does have a linear volume slider, and so does other "consumer"-software ... It's a shame.

Kr3eM wrote:First of all thanks for a absolute brilliant plugin. The only thing which bothers me is that Ableton Live v8 doesn't save the size of the window in the projects, it always starts up with the default size. It's not the end of the world but it's slightly annoying to resize it every time I open a project. Yes I'm aware I sound like a spoiled lazy brat ;) ,either way the plugin rocks...

Thanks ones again

Maybe i'll do that ...

sounds good

that resizing feat is really important!

Thanks for a truly great tool, and the fact that it is free just makes it even better.

Now to my question: I'm an FL Studio user since way back, but I've never really learned how to use multiple inputs for a VST properly. In this case, if I simply send my channels to a bus and insert the Oszillos on the bus, then (of course) it doesn't separate the audio inputs individually. Does anyone here know the trick?

Thanks a lot!

No idea what you're talking about there! Just put an instance on every channel you want to monitor. Now look at the display in any of those Channels.

Hehe, thanks. I had no idea that VSTs could share data between instances.

i think the graphs strongly need some anti-aliasing, cause the current resolution is not really useful.

loopdon wrote:I think i understand what he means. Actually i was meaning to ask the same thing, before. It is difficult to see the attack phase/transient of a kickdrum for example playing on the first step of a pattern. It would be nice if you added a little 'noting' before the start of the first sound in a bar so it is more clearly visible. The way it is or at leats was in the latest beta i tested (5) is that the first sound in a pattern is almost glued to the left border making it very difficult to see what's going on in the first few ms of a sound. So i would put the sound i wanted to see the start of on say step 5 of 16 to clearly see the attack portion. I think this is what is meant.
Any news about this?

Has anyone got this working in Sonar 8.5?

I could have sworn that at one point I had this working in 8.5.3, the latest update, but now I can't get it to show up in the plug-ins list -- 1.1 won't even show up in the disabled plug-ins list. I see the dll's name flash past as the plug-ins scan takes place, but that's it.

I was able to install 1.0 and it shows in the plug-ins list, but it crashes Sonar every time. The crash occurs not when I insert on in an FX bin, but between when the window for its interface appears and when OMS would have drawn its GUI in that window. The client area remains blank, with nothing drawn on it. After the crash it takes several minutes before Sonar will close, even if I use Task Manager to force a shut-down.

Just dl'ed the 1.1 instaler, but when i loaded it up it was the older version, weird. Whats up with that?
