I have quickly posted this for Anthony.

Guys please give me time to get round it and I will be posting more single DRY samples throughout the day.

The basses are very good, the strings are not good but then I'm used to EW/Omni/Tyos quality etc

Synths are top notch, some of the best I have heard in software. Filters IMO are good.
Woodwinds ok but not Tyros/Korg standard. Brass is good. Some of the pianos are very good. I also think the guitars are very good.

The star for me is the FlexPhrase which I wish was a plug in. (how this works in context of layers etc I will be digging later.)

I have my own opinion about HS but I think you should make your own mind up after reading reviews and listening to samples.

@Dan I really need to sit down and go through the manual but as it stands the answer to your question is no. You cannot play chords with the left hand as backing, arranger style. What you can do is do a snapshot of a chord and save it to a pad, then use key switching (your choice of key) to play the pad. The multis play the usual workstation way of one fingered backing.

I agree in most part with the review, but the strings are not good IMO.

Thanks for doing that AdeVanEx, appreciated! I'm going to check them out right now.

If it outputs MIDI data, i'll buy it.
If it doesn't, i will not (buy it).
It's pointless to have all this FlexPhrase power
and not be able to send it as midi info
to other midi modules for layering, etc.

Thanks Ade. So, one fingered backing.. better than nothing but short of hardware. Just to clarify, if you change your 'backing track' note from, say, C to F; will it change key - or do you have to assign all desired keys to a pad and then keyswitch?

Also, is the backing flexphrase capable of changing from major to minor keys, or does this require setting up aswell?

Thanks, Dan

Its funny, I though the days of "Band in a box" (auto accompaniment) were over! Cant believe some KVR people still want that :-)
