I finally got my hands on Amplitube 3 after checking out the demo & pitting it against Vandal & Studio Devils AMP. While I couldn't come up with a clear winner when it came down to tone & amp emulation. Amplitube just had the edge overall as a complete package. Plus I got it for a great price on the Marketplace.
While its always good to see an update that addresses Certain problems I won't get excited until I see one that introduces native 64-bit support & maybe an update that reduces the CPU load Amplitube can pile on. These are really the only 2 things I don't like about Amplitube. Admittedly there's not a lot not to like (I think I said that right)
I'm really enjoying using AMT 3, the cab section is so much better now & there are some really great new amps there too.
Roll on native 64-bit support.
