It's a genuine product. The Heineken Guitar Amp. 20W. $119.
Well, I've tried every demo Amplitube has put out, and whatever they mean by "dynamic" is certainly not what I mean by "dynamic". What I look for is power amp-like compression and some sort of additional dynamic shaping from the cab model and Amplitube is absolutely the one most lacking in that area. Even the original POD and the near prehistoric Steinberg Warp had a lot more dynamic mojo going than Amplitube has ever had - in fact, Amplitube is the flattest of all amp sims (freeware or commercial) IMO. I thought ReValver was way ahead in dynamic feel with MKII, but after years of no development now I think Vandal is the most dynamically pleasing sim, plus it has all you need to get fantastic tone as well. There is still always room for improvement in hardware and software amps, though!redshift factor wrote:You are misinformed.guitarzan wrote:The Fender and Hendrix versions sounded good but Amplitube just clings to their absolute unwillingness to build in any dynamic reaction at all.
AmpliTube does have dynamic reaction built in. It always has, and it just keeps getting better with each version. IK Multimedia were the very first developers to pioneer it. They even have the word 'Dynamic' in the name of their modeling technique - Dynamic Saturation Modeling. If you're not experiencing dynamic response when playing, then you need to double check either your input levels, or your playing technique.
Two words, Ken....more minions! Maybe dial up the "annoyance factor" to about 11, too.Ken McLaren wrote:Guitarzan..you wrote that amplitube was the leader in propaganda...

Not likely, but I wonder if they have a full-sized-keg version for bass.hibidy wrote:*WARNING! stupid joke of the day!*HanafiH wrote:

+1 -- I haven't stopped using it since it arrived. And I cannot imagine life without it now.hibidy wrote:Life would suck if I didn't have AT3
you mean it doesn't suck now?hibidy wrote:Life would suck if I didn't have AT3
He got a new Ibanez with a full on wang bar recently...So how could life suck?Hink wrote:you mean it doesn't suck now?hibidy wrote:Life would suck if I didn't have AT3
I gave it a crack but it did nothing for me. Different strokes, I guess. People also seem to like Revalver as well, and I didn't care much for that either. Trust me, I spent some time tweaking to try and find this great tone that people are talking about and I never found it. Maybe I needed to spend more time? I can't imagine why. The first time I plugged into Amplitube it instantly clicked. That moment where you just find yourself smiling as you wail away and all you did was select a preset. To the person complaining about Amplitube's lack of amp dynamics... you're just plain retarded or trolling. Oh, it's so there.dhalfen wrote:+1 -- I haven't stopped using it since it arrived. I'll give Vandal a crack at the ol' title-belt sometime in the near future, though.
