No worries. Lots of time next weekend too. :)

tried the latest alpha...so far nothing bad has happened pc wise. Only :

- Master "tune" not working for Layer 1
- cosmetics - coudln't really read the commands for the menus in the modulation matrix

BTW, it worked inside GarageBand, that's a big plus for us. Being available to every Mac owner, yeah that's something :D

We're almost done with our new crossplatform alpha release, and we will release with a surprise new feature: "Online Preset Browser"

Yes, right within the plugin UI, users will be able to :

1) Upload their own presets to the online library
2) Browser presets in the online library
3) Download presets in the online library to their local drives

Preset creators will be able to limit preset access so that for instance some presets can be downloaded but not saved locally (such as the tutorial presets that we will release in the coming months)

The online preset browser, and our GUI related changes for VSTGUI 3.6 are almost done, let's hope that our crossplatform VSTi release happens on Sunday night!

BTW, we have 3 different "skins" for our first GUI for SM 2.5

bulent, honestly, this looks gorgeous!
but is it intended that the boxes don't align horizotally?

just asking... other than that, again, the gui looks stunning...

Yes, you are correct the alignment is off and I'm aware of it. It is due to some last minute changes I made (adding the box around the numeric readout and changing the display for the waveforms). They will be corrected in the next few days.

Sunday!! Nice! I'm looking forward :D

One of the best looking GUIs I've seen in a long time!

It will give me another good reason to learn SM completely.

I doubt I'll need to look further than the green one for classy, inspirational ui.
A credit to all concerned.

One question for Bulent, though.
I was lucky enough to win a nfr copy of Synthmaster2 when you launced.
Just checking with you that I'm still covered for this upgrade.

Hi everyone,

We are very glad to announce our first crossplatform release for SynthMaster 2.5

Here's a list of changes for v2.5.0.9:

1. NEW: The GUI framework is upgraded to VSTGUI 3.6
2: NEW: SynthMaster VSTi is available on both Windows and Mac OSX (10.5 and above) platforms
3: NEW: Added "Online" preset browser so that registered users can upload and share their presets
4: NEW: Users don't have to enter serial numbers anymore when starting SynthMaster, as the serial number key file is placed inside the zip archive when user downloads it.
5: NEW: SynthMaster comes with 3 different skins plus the development skin!

Windows 32 bit build is available for registered users at:
http://www.kv331audio.com/DownloadFile.aspx?fileID=42

Mac OSX 32 bit (Intel) build is available for registered users at:
http://www.kv331audio.com/DownloadFile.aspx?fileID=43

However, there's a general Mac OSX problem with the zip file you download on OSX:

The zip file has folder hierarchy such as:

Library/Application Support/KV331 Audio/SynthMaster
Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

When you try to copy the Library folder extracted from the zip file Mac OSX tries to REPLACE, NOT OVERWRITE the Library folder.

I mean, that's a SERIOUS issue. The replace could delete some folders :-o
