A nice example is the M51 by Algomusic

well, as for MIDI CC Learn/Edit there is no need for a dedicated menu at all as this is achieved by simply right clicking on the item you want to modify.

As for the other stuff this has been placed already thus hiding the kb won't be necessary as it even won't make the GUI smaller and I don't think a tiny mini kb would be suitable if that would be resized like show above.

I have to admit that I am playing Diablo II as a break from doing audio things....

It was then that I realized I had no proper place in my great-uncle's house or life or grand designs, and I feared I might never return to the upper floors, or escape to the streets of the modern world, to a room with electricity where I might send the Iron Chefs and the Top Chefs into Diablo's levels, to see how they might fare.
