I hope you'll enjoy it!

For everyone who don't want to read the whole thread to find all Electri6ity User demos, here is a complete list:
Somewhere - shows the Rickenbacker 360 played clean with a lot of feeling:

Funk-O-Town - shows two strats:

You might also like to visit the YouTube channels for more demos and MIDI playback videos:
When I click on any of these links, I get either a tiny snippet of the demo,
or it doesn't play at all.

Hi Dave,
which browser plugin for playback do you use? In case it doesn't work use Right Click + Save! Should work!

Please let me know!

PS: all demos except the newest (Autumn) are of course also available here: http://www.vir2.com/instruments/electri6ity

hi all

i've been tried electri6ity in a friend's home and i notice that there are no option to set a fifth or a octave or a powerchord for being triggered by playing only one single note.

the only thing related to this that i found is in the playing/power chord you can set to add an octave.

but actually you always have to press minimum 2 notes, and for doing a fast intrincated riffing is very unconfortable to play because the keyboard is not flat to slide quickly the hand and press...

the prominy SC have patches of fifths and octaves by pressing one note and its very useful.

if will be another update to electri6ity please include this because is something so practical if you need to do only rhytmical parts...

LPC. From the demos on Prominy's website i would expect that SC is better. But I did not want to raise the impression that it is impossible to get good tracks out of LPC. I just believe that Electri6ity has not only a complete set of samples with better dynamics, it is also possible to use it like an instrument.

I'm on a Mac Intel, browser is Firefox, OS is 10.5.8.

Aww, it doesn't matter, I already own Electricity anyway. I love it. And the new
video tutorials are VERY helpful. I didn;t know, for example, that you could strum
the white keys in the strum/mute octave to trigger your own "custom" strum. Awesome!

I just got my copy today , from sweetwater.
I talked to 2 sales engineers who saw an in store demonstration.
They were both impressed.
Benjamin,
Do I have to install the 1.1 update ? or is the update included
in the new disks ?

I think )can't check right now) it is possible to play chords using one finger ... you have to use the double multis. In those you have an option to use single note triggered chords.

I'm afraid it's not possible yet. It's a valid feature request for the next update!

Yes, there are two Les Pauls. One with humbuckers and one with P90 Pickups.

Sure, you can turn chord detection off on the Settings Page => Playing => Guitar Chords => Off.

Hey Ben,

Any chance we'll see a download-only "Electri6ity LE" or something in the $99-$129 price range. I'm sure there are MANY more users who'd pay in that range for just the Les Paul, for example. This is an astonishing product here, and I'd love to see it get a broader user-base.

We don't announce future plans, though we do listen to all customer feedback and take it into consideration for future products. I can say, however, that such a version would not be coming anytime in the near future.

Benjamin,

what i have is a script that is activated when i load the double multis. One of the things it allows me to do is to select "Chords" (such as 1-3, fifths, 1-3-5, ... for both major and minor). I thought that the script was coming with Electri6ity ... if not i wonder where it is from.
The script manifests itself at the top of the instrument rack in Kontakt and is called "Multi Rack".
I have the full version of Kontakt. So not sure where this fits. Maybe the script comes with the full version of Kontakt and is only loaded if you have that version?
