Yep, that's how I debug load and saving, I just dump the file to the desktop so I can have a look, fine for me, but not fine to release! I'm going to add a big flag around all such debugging things to make sure it won't happen again.LeVzi wrote:lol I never even noticed the file on the desktop. Andy you work quick lolNice one.

I want to keep The Glue as it is now with regards attack and release times, but there is plenty of scope for such things in future products.Binder wrote:I'm nearing the end of my demo run. This is an excellent plug-in at a very reasonable price.
For me personally, I'm uncomfortable with the stepped controls and limited setting choices. I understand that that's what this plug IS... so, not complaining.
But I'd be much more interested if the modeling was interpolated into adjustable attack and release settings, and ratio if possible. Perhaps this could be done for a "Glue Two"— with a New School—Old School switch?
Over the years, I often find myself using compressor attack times of around 2ms. So coming to The Glue and finding that my nearest choices are 1ms and 3ms is a bit off-putting.

I definitely want to do a limiter in the future! Also I will be adding optional oversampling to all my plugins, including The Glue. When paired with custom dsp techniques, oversampling is the icing on the cake to improve audio quality of any non-linear digital processing.

Good news, i hope the limiter something from SSL and of course affordable range price.andy_cytomic wrote:I definitely want to do a limiter in the future! So it will good pair plugin.
Good news again, Over Sampling. Just suggestion, some thing like voxengo, 2x 4x or 8x.
Oversampling prevent aliasing/distortion, great for loudness war in Mastering section.
My studio almost fill good and affordable vst processing.
Thank!

I'm not aware of a limiter done by SSL.ronaldpassion wrote:

Yes, I will have multiple oversampling options as I have already implemented in FXpansion's Synth Squad product some time ago. As with what I did for Synth Squad, there will be a separate setting for both realtime and render, so you can have ultra high quality exports, but still preview with good quality, and the plugin will detect which to use so you can set it and forget it.ronaldpassion wrote: So it will good pair plugin.

Love the RANGE kn0b, it is usable.
Getting very quick dynamic c0ntrol for all tracks.
I think this is very clean c0mpressor.
I cant wait 4 the oversampling, 4x OS is en0ugh.
But, it is n0t open in wavelab 4. I am using v.1.0.15 (stable versi0n).
Thanks!

How about just making a reissue :
Cytomic The Glue [LIMITED edition]
That would keep everyone happy (and possibly should keep everybody satisfied...

I don't understand why everyone is asking for a limiter.
Put The Glue on 10:1, fastest attack and you have a limiter, no?
You can even press the little 'Peak Clip' button and it will soft-clip anything that tries to jump over the threshold.
