Yeah, this is certainly the most straightforward amp-sim of its calibre that I've ever tried!

Anyone who becomes "lost" using Vandal is hopeless. :wheee:

But for those who's demo ran out a long time ago, they'll never know.

On first play - this actually sounds quite fantastic.

I haven't done an A/B with revalver yet - but like everyone said in usability terms this is FANTASTIC, clean usable interface - with minimal tweaking required to get a sound. That alone is 100 steps up from other products ive used.

I managed to find some really nice smooth high gain sounds too, though there are some "transistor'y" ones in there too - but thats the case with everything. The cleans also sound great.

I'll have to play round with it more - but am very impressed. Any chance of a download Mac version???

(and also a fix for the AU not showing up in ableton issue?)

I don't even need to think twice about this.

Love it. Bought it.

I don't even HAVE to change a darned thing to make it sound excellent.

And if I do change something, then it just continues to sound excellent.

If I had to store an amp-sim in my Bat-Belt, for lightning-fast super-solutions, then THIS is it.

Amplitube 3 is still just as good (and can do a bit more - it's the new Batmobile!), but it must now share the crown. :D :D :D

Now, unfortunately, I just have to wait for the box to arrive. :( :tantrum: :x

(If they're going to make the Mac demo downloadable, then why not the real deal???!? ARGH!!!)
