hey thanks. i was joking really: yes sir just replace your entire operating system
with this... :) and i'll definitely give it a try, as i need something for those
situations.

here's a re-draft of that drum machine thing, now called Zoxdrum. with a few
tweaks, and hopefully the samples embedded this time; (let me know if not)so if you downloaded it before, replace the file with this one please. same link:

it's still just a sketch, just to play with, and sync still not accurate, for now.
runs on its own ok, though.

here's the readme....i think this is from WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before osx, tho..
the date is 92~~!!

Hyperupic is an image to sound transducer implemented on a NeXT workstation. That's right, with Hyperupic you might be able to hear Whistler's mother. I think that he did all the whistling, actually. Meanwhile, you need to know that this implementation of Hyperupic only accepts 24-bit RGB TIFF images as transduction sources. Now don't turn blue. You can still scribble with Icon, save the masterwork as a 24-bit alpha-free image (even with JPEG compression if you like!) and Hyperupic will transform the image into a soaring melody. It's just information.

Hyperupic has not been tested yet under 3.0. Hyperupic uses threads. I hope there isn't a cataclysmic connection.

Hyperupic is free. Give it to your friends. Show it to your mother. I won't make you feel guilty (yet) for using my software. You can even claim that you wrote Hyperupic yourself! If you do this though, you might never have sex again.

You are a glue gun.

Hyperupic has on-line infotainment, including documentation. Hyperupic is also filled with other pomo gimmicks and non-sequiturs that make specialized programmers tense and feisty. Relax, you'll retire early.

I really enjoy emphasizing that my deployment of Hyperupic marketing viruses is strictly modeled on Mathematica religious conversion ploys. We all have to keep in mind that we are all small fish compared to the Phillip Morris virus. You can find the real Morris virus on the entrance sign of your local supermarket.

Meanwhile, you are reading about Hyperupic. I have included a few sample images with this release; more will be available via network archives soon.

The demo version is fully function, except for the following restrictions:
Preset saving is disabled
The plugin state is not saved/recalled by the host

In other words, it's a free demo!
