How is this fair, The finger not for free Kore Player but restricted use in free Reactor Player!

Surely if I have paid to buy THE FINGER I should have full functionality, I should not have to buy a seperate VST(REAKTOR 5.5) to gain this? It should be fully functional in the coming REAKTOR PLAYER. You don't buy a sampleset(I.e Alicia's KEYS) from them that is restricted for use in the free KONTAKT PLAYER, it the same as using it in full KONTAKT...

This is a con, I bought THE FINGER as a full product that works with the free KORE PLAYER! Now I have bought a partly crippled effect software that needs a second purchase to get full functionality...

Am I wrong or right in sounding a bit pissed about this?

I would think so too, that it will continue to be compatible in Kore player BUT.... It's way better in Reaktor, so once it's released, I doubt you'll complain about having it (but you could prove me wrong).

I'm confused. If you only have the Kore player, you only have access to basic settings...you've always needed Reaktor to access the full thing.

The Reaktor 5 player is free, and it says it will work in that. So, at worst, you'll have to install it...but you won't have to buy anything.

If anything, you should get MORE functionality int he Reaktor Player than in the Kore player.

I never knew it was ever restricted, I know nothing about Reactor, I just read it works with the Kore Free Player when I bought it - so didn't think it was cut down without secondary software...

I've set it up once to test it and got it working but didn't realise it was a preset think, I thought each type of effect was mapped once across each key, maybe it will be better in Reactor Free but think it should be uncrippled and work like it does in 5.5. if you have bought the finger, like as if you buy an NI Kontakt Sample Library, it has full functionality, not cut down...that's all...

Nothing has changed for you. This is for new buyers. You can still use the version you have bought in Kore Player (not that it is any less or more full anyway - they are both player versions - you paid for the full The Finger, not the full version of Kore or Reaktor as well)
