Reaper, not Renoise :D

And it's not on every patch. Mostly pads which have a bit longer release times hit up to 15-20% with up to 6 voices played.

great example why devs could make a laptop version with tiny gui.

because on a a 24" screen a nice big UI is a blessing.

The quality of the basic audio engine behind this and other TAL synths (Elek7ro, Vintager) is, IMO, so much better than anything else available in the freeware plugin world. It just seems a shame that such an excellent audio engine isn't matched with an equally powerful, flexible architecture - even a basic assignable modulation matrix would vastly increase the potential for some really interesting sound design.

Yeah,
I've played a while and it is great, but unfortunately it makes no
sound in SAMPLITUDE V8 SE (so I have to use Hermann Seib's Vst Host)
and it don't response to midi (Modwheel to my Masterkeyboard)....

Hi,

First of all, thanks to TAL & co. for another great plugin :tu: :)

I can also reproduce 1 instance = 15-22% when playing chords for example (tested with four notes with patch PD Dark Animations FN on an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93Ghz - Win Xp Pro Sp3) but on Live 8.1.4

Cheers,
GilJ.

Woah, and yours is 1 GHz faster!!! O_O

Hm, for me that preset is 10% CPU with all 6 voices, but FX Raindrops FN is 20%! I guess it's the effects which choke CPU.

With a 6 notes chord (C3-E3-G3-C4-E4-G4) with FX Raindrops FN, I have 21-27%

great sounds, great GUI, nice work (again) by TAL !

For me as well, it's not really light on the CPU for pads and high polyphony. could do better in this area but still a great little synth vst !

Post

Thanks for this TAL.
I'm enjoying it a lot.

Mac au has some poly 6 voice problem, where notes don't trigger, and some notes cutoff short after attack in mono mode on 1 patch.
I hope to send some donate support soon, as your plugins sound great, and hope to see an update address whatever issues that need to be fixed.
Great sound quality.
Thanks.
Michael :)

this one is just awesome, but would be nice to have some sort of GUI resizer like mr.alias pro have

Post

Really nice.

Thanks guys.

P.S. I don't much about CPU when it's free. 8)
What ever!

Thanks TAL guys :tu:
