I stumbled upon the Hollow Sun site and loved the sounds I've heard!
Would like to buy some of the sample packs but there is a problem. I NEVER worked with samplers and I don't own one.
Can someone guide me in this? I guess I need a VST sampler/player?

To enjoy these sounds to their full, ideally you are going to need to buy Kontakt.
You could use the free Kontakt Player but this will time out after 15 minutes or so. You CAN start it back up immediately after if times out but you might find the time limit annoying.
Kontakt is very good but maybe a bit of a steep learning curve for someone such as yourself who has never used a sampler before. That said, it's quite possible to load my sounds up and play them and mess with controls on the custom front panels without having to burrow into the bowels of its deeper functionality.... just use it as a playback device.
Others may offer other suggestions.
