bug (edit):
cannot reproduce it.
feature request:
reset control for the knobs
i tried ctrl+ clik , shift + click , alt + click...but seems reset value for the knob was left out. i think its essential especially when tuninng
other than that....a very good first impression.
thanks to TAL for such a great little synth

This is KvR, remember?D.Wako wrote:P.S. I don't much about CPU when it's free.
Yes, this is annoying that it doesn't have it, it is so expected to have a reset knob modifier nowadays. TAL Elek7ro had it on shift+click, why didn't they port that to this new synth?olikana wrote:feature request:

Actually I don't "much" either, it's just a comment, not a complaint.DragonSagoth wrote:This is KvR, remember?D.Wako wrote:P.S. I don't much about CPU when it's free.![]()
It's about 20% on pad chords on CoreDuo 2.8 GHZ by the way.

i can confirm this bug after much playing around:
windows version.
interacting with the GUI often causes crackles and spikes (not always but often enough to become tedious) .
an issue similar to what was described in the Largo GUI bug thread (issue which was later fixed by waldorf i believe).

xenox which part of the synth was your concept or which part of the synth did u develop? in the other thread u claimed u "made the synth together" with TAL.
just to know if we should just be thanking TAL here or also yourself for this great lttle synth.
it's important to give credit where credit's due , especially when we talking about freeware.
nothing on TAL page or in the plugin itself suggest that u codeveloped the synth as u claimed...there's only a mention of your contribution in terms of presets (and i guess u did some betatesting ofc ).

What the hell is your problem? Why do you keep attacking Xenox.AFL, rather than just accepting that it's another good free synth that is largely based on TAL's Elek7ro. If you really want to give credit, give TAL some money - at no point has Xenox.AFl asked for any.olikana wrote:xenox which part of the synth was your concept or which part of the synth did u develop? in the other thread u claimed u "made the synth together" with TAL.

It's this kind of shit that stops people producing freeware...

I totally
this filter! I could spend hours just exploring the filter by itself. I love how it goes nuts when you turn up the resonance and sweep it.
CPU use is fine on my machine (Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 3.0 Ghz) using Reaper. Most presets clock in around 1.5% with a few pushing 5%. Excellent presets, BTW.
I also
the large GUI. I have a 1920x1080 monitor and find a lot of GUIs so small that I have to get within a foot of the screen to read the text on them. I do hope more developers make larger GUIs available. Even a "magnify x2" button would be nice. ACE seems to have this problem licked, AFAIC.

I guess we should all be upgrading! (Sadly, my mobo fits a Q6700 tops, or the expensive QX6800
