Yes it does.teknobryan wrote: It doesn't show up in the AU version
Look to the bottom left au module. Click the button with the 2 arrows making a circle. The presets will show up in the left window.

By saying "THIS", you're seconding the post you quote.Mac of BIOnighT wrote:This what?

really, has this become a synth1 fanboy thread?

I thought it was a noise maker, then I tried it and it was all friendly.

Synth1 is a really nice synth (I've made over 200 patches for it, so I must like something about it), but its filter is nothing special - it's above average, so far as free synths go, but that's a fairly low bar to cross. Yes, the saturation 'goes all the way up to eleven' - but that's not to particularly recommend it (I only ever use it very sparingly).
For my money Noisemaker's filter is an order of magnitude better - it's well balanced, clean, detailed, adds a pleasing colour, warmth and body, the self oscillation has a sweet musicality to it and the transition to it is a smooth 'natural' sounding progression.
In comparison S1's filter is just a tad flat, thin, fuzzy, indistinct, self osc. is harsh and boomy, the transition to it is sudden, the filter doesn't add much interesting colour; on the whole, it does the job in a fairly workman like fashion, but to quote someone else, it's rather 'meh'

Ah, subjectiveness is going to kill us all in the end.

"This" means "I agree"? Boy, that's so 15-year-old kid... but why not.
