This is a very chilled out track.. I guess it gets lumped in the Ambient bucket?

For me it has quite a strong feeling of being at some distance, in time or space, away from where I want to be, particularly the synth part 3/4 in. Perhaps 'separation' would have been a more apt title.

.. and just to be clear I am in no way trying to emulate an acoustic guitar! :) Not for the first time I ended up using the sound just because of the texture, but I know it can be offputting when real sounding instruments are played in an unrealistic way.. ho hum..

As always, I hope you enjoy.. all feedback is welcome :tu:

I never thought obviously fake instruments could be off-putting... certainly wouldn't cross my mind anyhow.

This is an excellent piece. Evocative and melancholy for me. I especially love the backwards sounding parts that start around 4:20. Thanks for the share - very much enjoyed it! 8)

This is really lovely. I enjoyed it, and since I'm keeping it I'll probably enjoy it again before too long. Thank you.

Love the delay sound, melodies crossing over, the slightly instable bass. Enjoyed lots :tu:

love this t00nz! Great use of space. I really dig the loose arrangement and the way the instruments breathe. Gorgeous.

Big thanks for the replies all.. Ahh guess I was just fussing about the guitar sound then. Particularly pleased to get positive feedback on this one as I spent some time fiddling with it :)

very pretty :)

the melodies seem to weave about each other and coupled with the delays it all adds up to a very pleasing bed of sound.

i also really loved the backwards flutey parts towards the end.

very nice indeed,

cheers,

steve.
