Hmmm...a contest that ends on my birthday? :D

Hmmm...I've had a retro song idea kickin' around in my head that sounds kind of '60's bond-ish...maybe it should be a theme...hmmm...

Instrumental only? Do you mean your entry or movie themes in general?
Eggzactly. All James Bond movies have a sung themesong, and most wacky comedies from the 1980s did too. There's nothing that says your movie theme can't have words :-)
GLHF! (Gandalf Lives, Hobbits Forever!)

I liked the theme Escape the Chaser from Laguna Rising. Nice music, beautiful melody. I listened to the track a few times)

I have something in mind. Just have to see if I can find time to complete it.

like this months theme, i tried to stay away from sad slow music but my fingers just skipped back to minor chords, so it became something of a minimal song for the final credits, kind of sad with a little sparkles of happy-thought thrown in here and there.

I was wondering If it would be good if I maybe make a mix with various movie themes, for example: The music starts with a romantic theme then it goes to a action theme and then it ends in a sci-fi theme. What do you think?

mixing different music styles would be interesting, but even nicer if a common themes is present thou-out the mixed composition, like a musical red thread

Thanks ! the mix is very rough, far from decent, but I was in a hurry to leave for vacationing and I probably won't be back until the last days of august (hopefully  ). Just in time for voting...

I downloaded your entry and listened to it on headphones: I must say it's well focused and well produced (balanced mix), very good sound quality and nice composition, I like the changes and how the melodies moves.

Cheers

Working on something ambitious for this. It's either going to be an epic or an epic fail.

Right, I assumed it was movie soundtrack which I guess it is not.

I think it's a little ambiguous which is no bad thing.
Theme, theme song, part soundtrack, whatever...as long as you enjoy yourself.

A news-flash from Belgium : The doctors are behaving themselves and everything goes quiet/very well; I just hope to get back in time to be able making a song for this month. :D
A small observation : besides great doctors I find here an enormous internet connection speed ! Faster than light ! :-o Ergo : light is very slow in Belgium - when it finally reaches the soil it is gone and all you see are big clouds !

MUM, I WANNA GO BACK TO PARADISE ! :x :hihi:

See ya and make songs like yuv never done before,
