CFA-Sound soundset for Z3ta needed/welcome?

Why? Like I said: Teksonik and Brok Landers...
Ton of ambient stuff, pads, stabs, leads, etc. Some of that even out of the box.

This is a bit off topic (but related to to the question of whether there's a need for a pads bank).

Is there anywhere to get the Brok Landers Ambient-Trance Textures bank? All the links I've seen are dead.

Perhaps would it be also an option, to build some "test-patches"...

one package with athmos, pads, long key sounds - focus on ambient
one package with plucks, basses, sequences - focus on trance

and than a new poll/voting...

So would have the users more influence. What do you think about this idea?

Btw, what would you prefer? Pure FXB soundset, or a combination of FXB and new waves for the Z3ta?

Do new OSCs mean that the presets need to be focused on one particular sound/genre only? Then why did you release the DiscoveryPro "OSCs" for free then?

Because the new waves for the osc's would than optimized for the genre - for example, if the soundset would be for trance stuff, the waves would be trimmed for a bright and dynamic sound, if it would be for ambient, the waves would be smoother etc... The details are there important for a good product at the end.

Let's say you create a Mod Pack for zeta (I'm sick of writing the name+ thingy), do you really think people use the particular presets only? This is the reason why the Virus Mod is so popular, and why you can use your "own" OSCs (if you know how) - to go from there.

Saying that this only makes sense to create one specific genre pack is like using a "rompler" just for it's presets only (e.g. Nexus). Sure, preset users might be happy with it, but what about those that want to take it further?


I guess this is the reason why people are high and mighty about Alchemy, since you can use custom OSCs as well. And zeta can do way more than just being a "trance" synth - it was ahead of it's time (to what we're used to and want from developers now), though hard to modify...

I absolutly understand you, and yes sure with a complet mod-pack it would be better. But.. it's also more work, and then comes the question up - will it be worth?

Yesterday i also wonder about the mod issue, because so would be there more potential to give the z3ta a new facette, and also to show that the z3ta is not only a digial supersaw & dance-lead trumpet

I don't know if it'd be "worth" to me, to you, or anybody else. Part of me says "yes" (if I'd go as much haywire in terms of sound design as others, or at least "try to" create own stuff), part of me says "no" (as preset user).

It's up to you, but getting access to another "preset pack" with the standard OSCs, and covering about the same topic like the competition... definitely not interested in that at all.

Yes, Brok's sounds are in A and B in the current version of z3ta+ 1.5.3. Some of the best in the factory set.

It would be great if you could do a z3ta+ sound set for trance its a superb synth and im sure with your expertise you could conjure up a nice soudset but i would focus on trance personally, thats just my opinion!

Atm i can't say if there would come a set/expansion for z3ta, to much trouble with other stuff... Blofeld, Sylenth(4x) & Virus sets, some sample-packs and also some vst/au plugins.... there have a soundset/expansion for z3ta a much lower priority
