Alchemy pads is sound bank for CamelAudio Alchemy. But "Alchemy Player" included (if You not Alchemy owner)

Hi guys,

There is some confusion here.

The Himalaya Alchemy Pads Vol 1 used to be my sound bank for Alchemy sold directly from my website. It does not come with Alchemy or Alchemy Player. These are only samples and presets. This sound bank is no more.

It has been updated recently with new samples and presets and its distribution has been taken up by Camel Audio, so I no longer sell the Pads Vol 1, nor the new product. However, it is this sound bank which comes with the Alchemy Player.

Since I can only give stuff as prizes I sell myself directly on my website,
I can't include my sound banks as sold by developers. I hope you understand.

However, I see that the prize winner is very happy at the prospect of playing with these lush ( oh yes

) Alchemy pads, I wouldn't want to spoil the expectation and the subsequent fun, SO! I have been in contact with Ben, the head cook at Camel Audio and he has agreed that Steplton will receive his prize. Actually, he will receive more as Steplton has chosen the original Pads Vol 1 which come without the Alchemy Player - it would be impossible for Steplton to use them (not having Alchemy, as I presume from reading the thread). So, with Ben's proposal and permission, Steplton will receive the full sound bank as sold by Camel Audio, which does come bundled in with the player. How cool is that!

A round of applause for Ben, you will agree?!

So, amidst all the confusion, a fantastic result.

Steplton, I will PM you to let you know the details.

Disclaimer.
I have to state, that this is a one off, as you can understand, and I can't offer sound banks as sold by developers as prizes, which means that the DCAM Synth Squad and the Alchemy Pads sound banks are not part of the prize offer. It's a shame, I know

, especially as I don't have a big sound bank catalogue, so the choice isn't that enticing. In fact the choice on my website is rubbish, but hey! I'm working on it.

Great stuff, cheers to himalaya for pulling up a result out of the confusion, and big cheers to Ben and Camel Audio

I think it would be wise for me to 'highlight' the word 'directly' in himalaya's prize pledge as a means of preventing this confusion from occurring again.

So we're finished here at last... we'll, no, we're not .... until I finish of the e-album

Ha! No problems, as mentioned in the PM, it has turned out even better as you will get the full sound bank, which should sort you out for pads for a good few years ( I would like to hope so

I just love reading stuff like this

And eventhough the endresult was kind of an anticlimax ( Steplton already had/won Alchemy, so he didn't need the player

) I enjoy reading how much time and efford Himalaya put in to bring this to a nice ending together with Ben (Camel Audio).

It's things like this that make me remember why I hang out here (KVR)
