Great looking twosome there - kids look OK too
Congrats
If you did, I might not listen at all. And if I did listen and thought "this would be my no. 4" I wouldn't vote for your entry and claim to not have heard it at all to avoid legal repercussion.Echo Voodoo wrote:I'm now considering releasing my contest songs under a license that only allows them to be listened to if the listener agrees to place the song in their top 3 at voting time.
I'm sure my ethics-free crazy-license-writing lawyer would sue you (and anyone else who didn't vote for my entry) anyway. I'll just use one of the lawyers that SCO used. It's bound to turn out better this time.farlukar wrote:If you did, I might not listen at all. Thanks, Tim .... that'll do me !!!oddbod wrote:but overall decent stuff
Actually I didn't do to much tweaks in the strings to make that more as "human played" but the brass and wood-wind are ok I think tough garritan libraries doesn't have that Hollywood sound. VROOM.....oddbod wrote: this ticks the boxes as film music but the composition has a very generic sound which is rather unmemorable. The instruments have a GM flavour to them - not sure whether it's the programming or I'm just used to hearing Garritan being outperformed by better libraries these days.
Thanks! I agree on that rimshot being too loud. I find myself waiting for that 2.00 moment too.oddbod wrote: Keyboard sam - some very sweet and accomplished piano. This is a very well produced piece. If I had a criticism (moi?...surely not) it would be that the rimshot snare is too intrusive - it switches to a different sound around 2.00 which is much more subtle.
