I was wondering If maybe I would can release my songs for KVR contests as Creative Commons license because most of my songs are under that license.

So far as I'm aware, there are no rules about what license you can/must release your music under, as far as the contest goes.

Though since the topic has been brought up, I'm now considering releasing my contest songs under a license that only allows them to be listened to if the listener agrees to place the song in their top 3 at voting time. Just need to find an ethics-and-common-sense-free lawyer to write up the legalese for me.

Future Bit - solid tight 80s euro-pop. I like this sort of stuff with that bouncy octave arp synth. maybe lacks a real solid hook but nevertheless, it's an enjoyable piece.

Laguna Rising - I actually find this rather missing the drive (no pun intended) to be convincing as car chase music. As a piece, I prefer the latter more sedate and piano lead section from 1.31 onwards.

Offthewall - I like the airy acoustic feel and the overall ambience is idyllic and believable as backing music. The repetitive opening of the whistle phrases gets a tad annoying and the performances could be gentler in places but overall decent stuff.

Lex Strooder - I like both the performance and the composition. The violin's slightly scratchy but perhaps that's being picky. The swamping with reverb gives it a lush cinematic atmosphere.

t-riddy - more brief atmospheric interlude than theme but I like the flutey pad chords and bamboo whistle sound with the stick percussion. Nice, but a little lacking in ambition perhaps.

Pheeleep - the original is such an iconic piece that any cover is never going to come remotely close. You've put a remix spin on this and its put together well enough but it doesn't get me that steamed up.

Jerru - this could pass for a sort of 80s era Bond style theme, i.e. verging on OTT and perhaps melodrama but excellent retro sounding stuff all the same.

Mrblitz000 - this just doesn't appear to bear any relation this month's contest theme. If the theme was "Compose a piece of music to be as repugnant as possible" then this would've got my number 1 vote. Sorry, I just don't understand where you're even trying to get to with this.

Patrick9 - I find this has an over-mechanical feel. It's disjointed and lacking organic flow. Not really doing anything for me I'm afraid

Mvrasseli - this ticks the boxes as film music but the composition has a very generic sound which is rather unmemorable. The instruments have a GM flavour to them - not sure whether it's the programming or I'm just used to hearing Garritan being outperformed by better libraries these days.

Keyboard sam - some very sweet and accomplished piano. This is a very well produced piece. If I had a criticism (moi?...surely not) it would be that the rimshot snare is too intrusive - it switches to a different sound around 2.00 which is much more subtle.

Beanpole - I think this works well as a film piece. Yes it's a repetitive chord sequence throughout, but there's plenty of variation to maintain the interest and keep it moving on.

Actually I didn't do to much tweaks in the strings to make that more as "human played" but the brass and wood-wind are ok I think tough garritan libraries doesn't have that Hollywood sound. VROOM.....

Thanks! I agree on that rimshot being too loud. I find myself waiting for that 2.00 moment too.

I wonder about the track; and haven't quite made up my mind about it. Agreed, I've never heard anything quite like that in a movie. Your feedback is appreciated.

BTW, your entry is outstanding. Plus, anything referencing "Almodovar" gets a bonus point.
