I was just about to ask the same question. What is the difference between the two freeform eq's?
And thanks for the new creative bundle plugin. Heaven.. I'm in heaven... Ladadidadou..

Well, MFreeformEqualizer is based on FFT as almost every "spline/freeform" equalizer. But FFT has severe flaws, I recommend reading this:
http://www.meldaproduction.com/audiotut ... lizers.php
Mostly the section about FFT.
MFreeformAnalogEq however is based on true analog filters, yet it adapts to response you draw. The audio quality is much better this way, though it cannot provide any frequency response, but only what can actually be done using analog filters.

Brainteaser:
It sits in front of a computer, smiles from ear to ear, shakes its head with an expression of disbelieve, develops conspiracy theories (saying that Chuck Norris is coding plugins under a easteuropean name). What is it?
Answer: A MTotalBundle customer.

A minor annoyance that was reported to me by a friend in 3.01 beta, I just got the same in 3.01 official: after launching the update exe to update from v3.0 to v3.01 all free effects showed in reaper with generic reaper GUI (slider only) instead of graphic GUI, with no way to switch to normal Melda GUI.
Uninstall/install and everything is back fine.
Is there something wrong in the updater maybe?
Thanks,
Mario

Windows XP SP3 (Italian, but the friend of mine reporting it has probably an English/AUS version), Reaper 3.66.MeldaProduction wrote:Jaj, thanks for the info! Ah right, so this is a similar principal to the MFreeformEQ but it eliminates the various hassles that FFT may bring ?
Does this eliminate the latency problems too ?
That would be amazing if it did. That was my biggest beef with MFreeformEQ , the latency, but then doing what it did in realtime was always going to be difficult I guess.

Yes! It does eliminate latency. However it cannot do everything what MFreeformEq does, that's simply impossible.LeVzi wrote:Ah right, so this is a similar principal to the MFreeformEQ but it eliminates the various hassles that FFT may bring ?

Ok, so the previous version has latency, is more precise in a crappier kind of way. The analog version has no latency, is less precise in a better way. I get it

I use MFreeformEQ for the precision cuts, but this could do roughly the same job without the latency, so when I needed really precise cuts obviously go for MFreeform, but for rougher cuts n no latency this is perfect.
This sounds sweet as
Now I need to rob a bank cos I want this and the creative bundle
Not saying its expensive, its all remarkable value, I'm just always skint ! lol

Thanks for the update
Now I just wish the installer can install the VST3 in my own specific folder.
Can you please add VST3 browse location ?
And also an option : don't install VST 2.4
