Hye !
i'm not a registered user of Rhino yet, but i think i will be soon !
From the demo, i've begin to draw a skin in the Tracktion style.
Here is a first screen, let me know if you're interested...

Cute. I'm working on an improved skins system for the next version, so you will have a lot more freedom to define the location and shape of the various items. It'll support knobs too.

daniels skin is the one i currently use, and krhens albino rhino is a very close second; however, both have aspects that hurt my eyes.
in daniels, some of the darks are just a bit too dark and the light colors are too saturated. the hues are excellent, though. in general, the green / yellow / orange side of the spectrum is better for text while the blue / purple / red better for backround; although there are exceptions if you get the saturation just right. on a scale with white being (255,255,255), nice backround colors are like this (10,10,30) or this (20,5,15); with less saturated text colors like this (130,180,130) or this (160,160,130).
the albino skin is a real work of art, but the foreground colors really hurt my eyes.

I am! Since I am a Traction user, this looks pretty good to me. But looking forward to what Tick comes up with next as well.reason.fan wrote:Hye !

congrats tim !! glad to have you back.
on the skins -- i have switched to khrens black skin, as it is almost a perfect fit to my weak eyes; now, just a few tweaks to colors.txt...
what is the best way to do this? for lack of knowledge, ive been doing this
o open colors.txt in notepad
o add rhino channel to floops
o endless loop...
o change numbers in colors.txt
o delete rhino channel, add new rhino channel
o try to discover what changed
does someone know a better way ?

You can use the standalone version for ultrafast run / stop.
