In Cascada's "Evacuate the dance floor", I can figure out the main synth easily enough, but how do you make the bass synth that's in the verses?
(It's basically the same as the bass synth in Lady Gaga's "Just dance", too.)

It's essentially the lower registers of a supersaw. If you have a search for 'Lady gaga Bass' or 'Just Dance Bass', you'll find a thread where I explained how to do it and posted a patch.
EDIT: Found the patch.

it definatly is sum kind of low octaved detuned saw, with chourus and a low pass filter
if you have nexus 2 theres a patch in one of the dance expansions called evacuate bass, which is identical as you can imagine.

I'm trying to do all in one patch but feel free to break it up into layers.
Once you load the midi & the preset you'll see how it's made and you can finetune it
