The Avant-Garde sound bank contains 128 new Programs further expanding z3ta+'s sound pallet by offering new vintage and modern electronic music style synth sounds. Included in the Avant-Garde sound bank are evocative atmospheric soundscapes and moods, analog-digital hybrid pads, classic electronic music style arpeggios, vocal based sounds and a variety of different synths. There are also several lead, bass, keys and effects sounds included to round out the collection.
The 128 programmed sounds are organized into 8 general category sound types for quick and easy usage in finding specific types of sounds: Arpeggio, Atmospheric, Bass, Effect, Key, Lead, Pad and Synth.
The Avant-Garde sound bank is well suited for the following genres: Ambient, Atmospheric, Avant-Garde, Berlin School, Electronic, Experimental, Film, New Age, Progressive, Rock or Space Music.

To coincide with the release of the Avant-Garde commercial sound bank for Cakewalk z3ta+, a new GUI skin was developed by Random Wave Music to accompany the 128 new Programs exclusively.
Many regard the original z3ta+ design to still be the best. This is a testament to the great work by Bitplant, who produced the original graphic user interface. It's from this design the concept for the Avant-Garde skin is inspired from.
The Avant-Garde GUI is designed to graphically represent and evoke the genre and style of the Avant-Garde sound bank by offering a nod to vintage analog and digital synths of yesterday and today - much in the same way the sounds are intended to.

Avant-Garde GUI Versions: "New" and "Used"
============================
In addition to the "New" standard version of the Avant-Garde GUI, a "Used" version of the same GUI is offered. The "Used" version as the name implies, shows some wear and tear on the GUI giving the appearance it may have been to one too many gigs or found second hand!
