hi
some vsti such as eastwest play engine create several output channel while opened.but i find it's not possible to configure each output seperately just like in cubase or other vst host.
is it the limit of Lite version,or do i miss any setting?
thank you

Well, that's not barely impossible but one weak point - less technically, more gui wise. It's a bit fumbling and tedious... and I am not sure if you can get an assignment to aux sends the way you expect.
The buzzword is "Master Bus". Please look that up in the manual, together with the vst slot audio routing. Both is documented.
In Rack slots you have "Tools" - "Audio Channels" where you find a simple dialog box to assign ins and outs via two lists and a slider to level each of the connections.
I admit that I am not happy concerning the handling of multi channel plugins in Cantabile - especially gui wise. The technical way via the "Master Bus" is inconvenient at best but nevertheless gives some flexibility. That's simply a feature to be worked out...

Hi,
I was looking for this functionality some weeks ago and I agree to TiUser: you will be able to map the audio channels of the plugin to several master busses and "trim" the volume of each chanel in the mentioned dialog. I found no way to activate aux sends to these additional outs. This means for me: no advantage to the trimming of volumes inside the plug.
One small idea from my side that doesn't make the wished functionality available but maybe of some help as workaround: I found out that the cpu consumption of many sample based VSTis depends on the real activity in the instrument and not the plug itself (in other words: when you don't play a note the consumption maybe next to nothing). For me this means: instead of activation one plug with let's say 3 instruments in it I simply activate 3 instances of the plug with only one intrument in each. Now I have aux sends, pan and volume available for each instrument. The additional cpu consumption in my case is neglactable.
As I use jBridge I addditionally have the advantage to isolate each instance so it can grab more RAM (sometimes this is useful for samplers/romplers).
Maybe this can be of some help,
regards, huphrey
