Hello,
I'm very pleased to release, with permission from the author, a PDF document that includes all posts published so far in Kim Lajoie's "Lifesigns from the studio" Internet blog (http://blog.kimlajoie.com).
Kim is a respectable member of this forum, known with username "Kim (esoundz)".
I consider his blog an amazing resource with plenty of technical (and not only) informations of absolute relevance about the art of music production and songwriting. I thought it would have been very useful having all these awesome informations available offline in the form of a searchable and indexed PDF document.
The document (400 pages currently!!!) is downloadable here (new links, 2021 March):
https://app.box.com/s/qf7l1on62t5zfd5s6vnxcuvzd08qqr27
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u52Mkg ... sp=sharing
Kudos and thanks again to Kim for being so kind to allow free distribution of the document.
Please note that this is a completely unofficial (private) initiative.
I'll try to keep the document updated as Kim posts new articles in the blog.
EDIT - last content update Jan, 17, 2016.
Enjoy,
Mario

Read a few of these a while back and they're very good. Thank you Kim for sharing, and to yourself for collating!
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

You're all welcome, and don't hesitate if you have any feedback or suggestion about improvements for future versions!

Perhaps make the text alignment "justified"?mabian wrote:You're all welcome, and don't hesitate if you have any feedback or suggestion about improvements for future versions!
To me at least, such is easier to read.
