Lots of love for the filter section at the top of the GUI. I have noticed, however, that some settings can be dangerous! Even with feedback at less than 100%, the echoes get louder and louder, depending on how resonant the frequency is. I kind of like this, though, it gives it an organic feel... just don't forget to add that brickwall limiter.

My question has to do with the pitch LFO. When I enable it, scratchy noise is produced along with the warble associated with the LFO. Is this an intentional artifact to replicate lossy tape decks, or is my CPU being pushed a bit too hard?

Also, generally speaking, is there a way to save my filter settings so they can be recalled later? This may require a DAW with certain features that Reaper lacks...?

The pitch LFO shouldn't make scratchy noises. Is this on Windows or Mac? (I understand you're now using v2.3.0, in Reaper.)

AL relies on the host for saving and loading presets. I'd be very surprised if Reaper doesn't offer that functionality.

It's on OS X. I get some scratchiness when I change settings while the loop is decaying, and the pitch LFO seems to be the main culprit, although it sometimes adds a little fuzziness to the loop when left alone. Freeze Loop sometimes introduces an artifact into the loop when activated, too.

How odd.

Are you using the VST or AU?

I tried both with the same results.

Still happening, what should I do?

Could you record me some examples? I might be able to tell what it is if I hear it.

I have recorded a few samples. PM me with your e-mail address or something and I will send them your way.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

I hear what you mean. It's not obvious what's causing that.

Can you send me a song file, a preset, or just a screenshot of the AL GUI so I can see what your settings are?
