am i right in saying this wont work as AU in logic 8 running 10.4?

No, Patrick did some updates and it's working on 10.4, 10.5 AND 10.5..

At least it runs on all my machines...

ah, cool. thanks. i DLed this when it was first released and only just tried to install it 2 days ago, but it didnt work. will try latest update...

Yep, you have to download the latest 1.08b version to get a full working on 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6..! VST and AU are supported..

Really like this synth. Its a perfect simple Synth for creating lovely big bass sounds. The filters are fantastic.

I will give another "thumbs up" to Patrick for his very, very good work... He managed it to realize a very good synthesizer in a couple of weeks and he managed it to make it nearly bug free on all systems...!

And thanx to everyone who voted here on KVR for the TAL - Noizemaker Synth, it's on place5 now..!

Really good synth this, but I'm getting a lot of stuck notes almost every play now.. This is in Reaper and happens on several patches (usually longer ones).

On TAL's site, it says version 1.08b is out, but after install, the synth itself says version 1.06 on Win 32. Dunno which is wrong.

Weird. Running Windoz XP Pro 32 here and Noisemaker says V1.08 in the window

Same here, winxp 32bit, 1.08.

Also, while i'm here, i want to give props to tal! Excellent plugin! It is simple, yes, but it sounds great!

Well the download now gives 1.08.

Stuck note issue is better with that, no need to hit the panic button every 2 minutes now.

I'm having a weird problem with the new 2.10 version that the graphics will freeze completely every 2 seconds no matter if Reaper is playing or not which makes editing impossible. Not only will mouse and all freeze, normal zoom or scroll will not work as I guess the modifier keys will be blocked by the freezes.

If I revert back to the older 1.08 version the freezes are gone. I dunno about the 2.00 version as I don't have and can't find it anymore.
