:tu: I agree, I liked it instantly too. That's why I finally bought it. In companion with the free TAL vocoder I am well set and it is maybe all I ever need. 8)

it will, along with the other il vst's.i asked image line.
according to image line, they are (in the process) to write a own bridge and the bridge will not introduce further latency's. :)

Who said that, gol ? There must be something stopping the port to 64bit , as Delphi supports 64bit now and some delphi written plug-ins are 64bit native or in the process of being ported.

But Vocodex does work fine with JBridge, and it is the best vocoder I know of.
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

vocodex may work fine with jbridge but i think it introduce latency.

yes. i was told on the Image-Line forum by the developer that Vocodex WOULD NOT be going 64 bit (to my dismay). granted, it is the best sounding vocoder that i have available on my system, but it often crashes my Sonar X1 x64 (nothing else i have crashes it) with jBridge. very unstable. a literal tragedy

when did you get this reply?

i got my reply about image line vst will be x64 about 2 weeks ago.
i know some months ago they tried to avoid it... :hihi:

i have a definitive answer from a support ticket so it would be time to stop the speculations.

Post

i'm looking at the post on Image-Line forums right now . . .

gol: "I can't make 64bit versions of my plugins. In the best case we'll wrap one using our own bridge." (2/20/12)

so, it won't be x64. a bridge is still a bridge
