Hello,

I've just started to use Core bass Pear and think it's absolutely amazing. Thank you so much.

This might seem like a silly question but I'm using it by playing it via my midi keyboard using the Kontakt VST plugin in Sonar8.5 and was wondering if I should be doing something else to get the most out of it? Don't get me wrong I'm delighted with what I'm hearing but I've heard talk of 'scripting' etc etc and it just made me think I might be missing something.

Not at all--playing it through your MIDI keyboard is perfect. In fact, CoreBass Pear is meant to be able to be played realistically through a MIDI keyboard as well as being sequenced in your DAW.

Are you using the slides, by the way? The sustain pedal triggers the slide mode, which turns overlapping notes into smooth slides (the speed is determined by the velocity of the overlapping note).
