I would like to keep the majority of the RhinoCm files out of my plugins folders, to keep my scan times down.
If I install RhinoCM into C:\Program Files\Big Tick Audio\RhinoCM\
and copy the .dll file into C:\Program Files\VST Plugins\Synths\FM
Can I use the install.RhinoCM file, saved in C:\, containing:
[BigTick] path=C:\Program Files\Big Tick Audio\RhinoCM\
so that the VSTi will find its other files.
Or is there another, better way to do it?
Q: RhinoCM install, outside plugins folders

Yes. You can install Rhino / RhinoCM anywhere you want - just move the dll into the plugins folder afterwards.

Ok, thank you.
I had tried that yesterday and moved the .dll file but it did not work. I had not seen the bit in the manual about creating the .RhinoCM file.
