If you don't know what to do with it, could be the best option imho. Otherwise you could use it as a midi controller for your daw (but you can already do that with your iphone).

Sell your net book ,use the ipad as a midi controller,web browser,play games ,email if you know how to use your iphone you should know how to use the ipad or sell it if you dont have a use for it

I think it would be rude to sell it though.
I can actually see me getting the Electribe app and then eventually a hardware one - quite a trick they've managed there huh!
Will be good to watch movies on holidays - although my netbook can do that AND it can do studio also.
Maybe I'll just find a fish tank app and sit it permanently on the mantle LOL

I have a gig on Friday. If I can get all me tunes transcribed in iRealBook by then, I will have that on my music stand rather than a binder.
