For Reaktor you need to go to your A/C, downloads, Product Updates (protected).
Excellent! Found it! :D

Just thought it would've showed up in the Service Center... oh well..

The 5.5 update showed up in my Service Center (along with Guitar Rig). Guess it varies.

Kore Player is updated now in Service Center! They must be having a busy day at the office!
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

The update is a natural consequence of updating Kore's internal engines - i.e. Reaktor, Kontakt and Guitar Rig

Great. The bug that causes audio clicks and renders Reaktor unusable in Cubase still isn't fixed... another bug report to submit - again - sigh.

I seem to remember reading on the NI forum about that and someone said it's a consequence of the way Cubase wraps VST 2.4 plugins - not a Reaktor bug per se. If anything take it up with Steinberg maybe? (I suppose that's an argument for NI to go VST3?)

Yes, I know about the thread on the NI forum. I wrote a few posts in one of the threads about this problem, but judging from the feedback others got from NI, NI seemed to confirm the bug as a Reaktor problem. Also trying to take up and issue with an old version of Cubase with Steinberg would be like moving the Rocky Mountains to Sahara. ;) (they're ok as long as you're up to date)

Anyway, I posted another bug report on the issue - which btw has been partly fixed. It seems that after a 1 minute or so, the CPU spikes and audio clicks disappear and everything is suddenly normal - untill I load the next instance of Reaktor.

Hi,

Reaktor5.5 now includes the ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS 1&2 libraries, and it seems that these libs include ensembles such as Titan or Metaphysical Function, but I just can't find'em in Factory's ensembles (in Classics and in New Additions).

Could you tell me where I have to look at, in order to find these "new" ensembles?

Thanks for your help! :)

In my update install, there were two new folders made called Electronic Instruments 1 & Elec. Inst. 2. That's where they were on my machine.

Hmm . . . I just looked in Reaktor and there's nothing there called Elec 1 or 2. I downloaded the update from NI as it wasn't showing in the Service Center. I own a Full Copy by the way. Bought it as a separate item some time back.

That's strange, I don't have these folders, although I've just downloaded the R5.5 update from my NI account.

So ok ; I guess I have to re-run the installer, and see if I didn't miss something. Thanks ! :)

I've got 2 questions if anyone can comment please:

1. I updated to Reaktor 5.5. Seems like a great update, and it's very nice to finally have the original Limelite and others from EI 1 & 2. All ensembles play as they should, with one exception: I can't seem to get Spiral going. Is there some secret to this one? The UI shows up, and even seems to indicate that sound is playing, but nothing is coming out of my speakers. All else seems fine here. Any thoughts?

2. Early in this thread (IIRC), someone references Rammfire and Reflektor as demos in the most recent GR update. Well, I updated, but I don't see any demos showing up anywhere. Did I misunderstand? If not, where do I find these?

I'll be updating soon to K7 anyway, but I thought it'd be nice to get a preview.

Cheers
