On a serious note i might pick one of these up as im seeing £499.99 at DV although not in stock yet.
I think a soundset or 2 for this is definatley coming in the near future.

On a serious note from me too, the price is an utter joke in my book, considering the much cheaper competition from Korg and Roland etc. I also feel pretty confident that it'll be built like a Big Mac container like everything else that Novation have spat together in the last couple of years.

just having regular size keys alone makes it better than the comparable KORG unit...

-M

p.s. those are regular size keys i'm looking at, right??
The comparable "Korg unit" is the Korg R3, not the new Microkorg, http://www.korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=279 and that one has regular keys

Just been reading some specs...although im sure it's a great synth it's not Polyphonic :o Unless of course im missing something.
So unlike the VStation you couldn't have multiple instances unless the software allows.
Anyone clarify this?

Yep

That's a bummer unless there's some trick with the software that you can open up multiple instances in your host although i doubt it as *Mono Timbral* it is :(
£500 i won't be spending now sorry.. just wonder why it wasn't made Polyhonic in this day and age.
Nevermind :)

Grrr it's early :) That's what i was meaning hehe.. It's obviously Polyphonic coz you can do pads etc i meant it's not Multi-timbral which is the bummer so you'll have to wait a while longer to teach me something hehe.

I suspected as much :(

And why o why did not this come as a plug-in
I have my remote with automap, it would be great to use this with the automap on novations midicontrolers. No need for the hardware

That depends on how you use the tools Ingo :) Blofeld rocks for sure but then in the right hands so will this IMO

Rob
Totally agreed. I didn't mean it's bad i just didn't have the need for it at the moment.

OK, i that is the case i'll have to buy one too maybe... :hihi:

BTW i would like to see Novation building a polyphonic version of the Super Bass Station. That would be a "killer synth" i guess. :D

Might email Novation and ask to do a bank for it then eh?
Not gauranteed a reply though but i'll have a blast whilst i finish the other Blofels stuff off.

Rob :)
