Hi all.

I downloaded the Demo of Spectral conquest and copied to my VSt folder.

Cubase technically opens the VST but there is interface. Basically just a small window with the Cubase on/off switch and a black square.

Im running windows 7 64 bit and cubase 5.5.1 64 bit.

anyone else had any similar issues? IS there likely to be a 64 bit version of spectral conquest for windows in the future?

Post

I'll check this out next week when I have access to a 64 bit machine.

There will be a 64 bit version of Spectral Conquest but I can't give you a timeframe for that right now, sorry.

Post

great. many thanks

Post

just to add a note. i tried using jbridge to see how that affected things.

well, something changed. now i have (what i presume is the) correct window size rather than a miniscule block as before. however, there is still no GUI :?

Post

tried running in audacity (32 bit) with same result. could it be an issue with windows 7 64?

Post

Just tried win7 x64, Spectral Conquest 1.0.1 and Cubase, Ableton Live and REAPER. All working fine.

What are your hardware specs, graphics hardware in particular?

Post

im running on a dell xps m1530 laptop

Nothing obviously wrong there.

Are your nVidia drivers up to date?

Post

well. when using device manager windows said most up-to-date driver was in use.

so i found this at nvidia which is their latest

http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-w ... river.html

installed this and the GUI succesfully loaded in Audacity!

then tried in Cubase and unfortunately the issue still remained.

however, i then tried j-bridging the plug-in to cubase and it worked!

so success of sorts! the GPU driver seems to have solved the issue, but it looks like the Steinberg VSTbridge still isn't quite up to scratch.

thanks for all the help!

Excellent news, glad it's working now.
