That would appear to be a Half Nelson (or maybe a Hide-and-seek Horatio?).
Not entirely sure that my guess is right/relevant chaps, although i believe that there is a soundtrack album named after this wrestling term?

wiki wrote:Halfnelson (sometimes spelled Half Nelson) was an American rock band, which was a precursor to the more successful Sparks. Halfnelson was formed in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles in 1969 by brothers Ron (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), the first incarnation also including friend and electro-whizz Earle Mankey (guitar).

Good team work though Chuck!
Although, knowing my luck, the clue's probably not about Nelson at all but some unusual 1820s dude who always painted his subjects peeking round corners.

i see there are several half nelsons of musical reference. apologies, i should have specified the answer i was seeking
anyway, the answer i was after was given by chuck - "halfnelson" - band name (and title of their first recording) before becoming sparks
