Hi,
Currently I have got both crusherX-Live and crusherX-Studio.
Two years ago I switched from Windows PC to Mac and therefore I couldn't use chrusherX anymore.
I'm really happy that you now have an Mac version too.
My question: Would it be possible to get an upgrade to the Mac version?
Cheers
Frank

It is not that the settings are lost if you let the plug in its slot. Just restart the editor and you can continue the sound search with the demo.Sampleconstruct wrote:I have understood what a parameter really does the nag screen comes up and my settings are lost.

Well quitting my host and restarting it every 10 minutes isn't really intuitive working, especially with such an intricate piece of Software like Crusher. Why don't you just increase the time until the time out occurs or even better provide a fully functional demo for a limited period of time like most other developers do? A test licence is much better for demoing Plugs imo, everything else is just annoying and decreasing possible sales of a Plug-In.

No, no you just have to open the crusher editor again, not the whole host. Sorry for misunderstanding.Sampleconstruct wrote:Well quitting my host and restarting it every 10 minutes isn't really intuitive working, especially with such an intricate piece of Software like Crusher.
You're right! I allready changed the code and will update the download in a few moments.Sampleconstruct wrote:Why don't you just increase the time until the time out occurs or even better provide a fully functional demo for a limited period of time like most other developers do?

That's a much better demo version and I'm pretty much sold. It sounds fantastic and can do things I could not achieve with Reaktor's Grain Clouds, at least not in that sound quality. The only thing that's really bad is the Text font in the GUI. On my 30" Cinema Display I can hardly read the knob labels. Not due to their size but due to the contrast and the font. 223 Euros (and that's a discount) is still a hammer I would say...
Cooles Plug-In Jörg!

Thanks for your contribution! Good point with the fonts. I didn't had a 30" in my test suit. I will check this, should be an easy fix.Sampleconstruct wrote:Cooles Plug-In Jörg!

I run crusherX-Mac in AudioMulch and it is flawless, from what I've tested so far. Smooth and solid. Amazing out of this world sounds, I'm loving it.
Do you think a stand alone application for Mac will be available soon like crusherX-Live?? That would be really cool to be able to run it on the fly without opening anything else.
Thanks.

No, no the betatesters did a greate job in the past! They found tons of bugs and I would like to say thank you for their greate job! But anyway: Releasing a 1.x version is every time a big challenge and I will try my very best to catch the remaining bugs as soon as possible. As most of the people here knows that my support is very fast and without any bureaucracy.Sampleconstruct wrote: Maybe some more betatesting would have been good before releasing this.

Ahh, well I couldn't resist and just purchased Crusher. It just can do so amazing things to audio in realtime it would be stupid not to work with it, even with the current Bugs.

Not in that exact same flavor as crusherX-Live!. But what I'm thinking about is packaging a small host player with the plugs. Like i did it with the tubePlug. That will enables you to run the plug directly without any configuration direct from the live input/outputs.Neon Breath wrote:@freq: I'm curious, do you think a stand alone application for Mac will be available soon like crusherX-Live?
