Hi
Does this granular effect allows stream recording/processing ? Or do you necessarly have to load a sample ?
(If it doesn't support stream processing, did anyone tried successfuly to drag/drop freshly recorded files from Reaper or Live ?)
Thank you

Tried the 1.1.0 demo and love the sounds I get out of it. 2 things though:
1. Would be nice to be able modulate the loop length too from the waveform window like Loop Position Modulation.
2. If the file name of the loaded sample is long it covers the red arrows for Waveform Loop Position Modulation.
Thanks!

it's not an effect , it's an instrument ...sinkmusic wrote:Hi

should drag and drop a .wav file , regardless of origin ( ymmv ) ...

Yes, but some instruments (LiveSLice, for instance) can record the audio stream, o i thought that this one might have been able too.normal wrote:it's not an effect , it's an instrument ...sinkmusic wrote:Hi

Currently there is live input feature, but as Normal mentioned you can drop audio onto the waveform.sinkmusic wrote:Yes, but some instruments (LiveSLice, for instance) can record the audio stream, o i thought that this one might have been able too.
For future, I would personally like to add an internal audio recorder, but I hadn't really thought about live recording until now...

In case you didn't know, you can reset knob values by right click (and clear modulation by right click on the ring).jensa wrote:3. Ctrl-click on a knob resets it to default value.
Regarding the handle-behind-the-sample-name, you are right this is not currently ideal, but you can still drag it, the sample name is just an overlay.

[edit: thanks, got the answer in another thread - it's on the way]
Maybe this is a better thread to ask about a Mac version (AU preferred). Any news?
Peace,
Andy.

Yep, I stand corrected about resetting to default values.newsonicarts wrote:In case you didn't know, you can reset knob values by right click (and clear modulation by right click on the ring).jensa wrote:3. Ctrl-click on a knob resets it to default value.

Maybe hide the filename in a submenu instead or just to the right of the speaker icon.
Found another thing. I've loaded a very long sample (7 minutes) and only looping a very small portion. To me it would be much better if pressing the Sample compare button played the looped part instead of playing from the start of the sample. Or maybe using Ctrl-click the button to play the loop part. Just an idea.

played around a bit with it in Cubase and Kore - seems to be rock solid
(also the x64 version inside Cubase 5 x64).
Some suggestions/questions (hope it hasn't been asked before...)
-would it be possible to automate one (or both) loop markers, so one could
change the loop range ?
-would it be possible to automate the position of the loop area ?
The recording feature for the loop area is a cool feature, but manipulating
it via automation would enhance the possibilities imho.
-if I select a veeeery small loop area (say only one or two cycles), is there a way to move it via the mouse ?
Just some thoughts, certainly doesn't prevents me from having lots of fun
with this plugin right now
(So get on the group buy in the market place, if you haven't seen it yet...)
Cheers

With the 1.11 update I seem to be forced to go through an offline challenge/response activation rather than the usual online activation - is that normal now ?? Internet connection is fine before anyone asks and I double checked the activation code I put in too.

thanks for the excellent synth.
it's a great addition to audiomulch 2's sound generators! nice way to chop up voice samples to feed into a network of delays. obviously great for drones and atmospheres.
any possibility of adding multiple layers with separate outputs?
