The original post hasn't changed yet, and I don't see any new links, so I'm guessing the update hasn't been posted yet. It's still saying version 1.0. This really is a great little tool that we are being given.
Thank you, SonicFire!!!

Is there any chance of having a browser built in to the UI? Or at the very least being able to set a root folder where all my soundfonts are stored so I dont have to keep navigating through my file system to get to them? I would be interested in seeing how big the file is before I load it as I have a lot of soundfonts(about 9 gigs) and want to know which ones are more likely to be of the quality I desire. I had been using SampleLord which has a great browser but its freaking out on me in Reaper and Im losing my internal midi connections to it soPhenome is great for me but I sure miss its browser:

I feel saddened when I think about samplelord and exTranslator. I've been waiting and waiting for the next versions. Version 4 would be as close to the holy grail as I could expect to get----if it ever came out. I'd sure like to see it released.

Edit: Getting back on track, I sure appreciate the work Sonicfire has been doing for us with this plug-in.

Co-sign on that one... I've been checking the site religiously to see when the next version of Extranslator has finally released.. it's helped tremendously with some of my soundfont creations and I can only imagine 4 to be a beast over version 3!
Side note, I'll have to see how this soundfont player works.. still sorta looking for an answer to a soundfont player that works with both PC and Mac that plays multi layer soundfonts.. but in the interim, I'll have to for now, convert all my soundfont creations to WAV / AIFF formats for those that can't use soundfonts on Mac or that would rather use WAV or AIFF...
Blazin' beats and high quality soundfonts!

Thanks, guys!
@Nabokov: I will implement a browser in the near future hopefully, that makes it easier to check out/locate different soundfonts. Also i will try to implement a method so that when SF2 files are missing or at the wrong location, Phenome will tell you. (Perhaps even locate then manually).
Oh, and: It's Version 1.2 now!
-cleaned up/implemented correct automation
-panning issues should be gone now
-some smaller bugfixes

Yep, it's now a panning in FL9. Really do like it. Great work, thanks.

Much appreciated sir. With a browser feature I can probably move over full time to Phenome as soundfonts are my only current source of multi-sampled sounds.sonicfire wrote:Thanks, guys!

Same problem with the v1.2...sonicfire wrote:This is weird. I will have a look! Thanks for letting me knowandroidlove wrote:i can only change the patch on the 1st slot. all others stay at the 1st patch after selecting a new patch. i did come across one sf2 that will let me change the patch after slot 1, but it has no sound no matter which patch i select
another problem : select an another output than "main" doesn't cut the sound from this one.
(tested with eXT2.5)

hey guy, just wanted to say even though i'm not using your phenome (i have live sampler and sfz+ which i use for soundfonts), it's very cool of you to do this and put such dedication and pride into it. i really admire your pixel skills too. very good work man.sonicfire wrote:Thanks, guys!
