As I understand it, you have the ability to layer up to 8 sounds. However, if I am only playing one sound at a time, am I going to be using up the same amount of CPU as I would be if I were playing 8 sounds at a time? This may not be exactly what I'm asking, so let me try another way?
Is there something in Phenome that turns off the layers that are not used? So that if I am only using one layer, the other layers are turned off--thus maximizing the efficiency of the VST?
I hope my question makes sense. I'm just wanting to know if things are designed to be as efficient as possible...
Thanks for your patience with my question.
