Yes, there are keyswitches for some of the extra articulations--grace note, fall (release), fluttertongue, and tuku articulation. You can place these keyswitches anywhere you want in the mapping.echophex wrote:oh and by the way...

So the library is turning out to be over 3.6 GB large--that's six extensively sampled Native American flutes. I can't wait to write the demos, not to mention make videos showing how expressive it is performed live from a MIDI keyboard.

Hi, Greg! And what about release time?

Aiming to have it out by the end of the month. I've been working 12 hours per day for the past few days (painstakingly setting seamless phase-aligned loop points), and I'm nearly done with the library itself. Then all I need to do is write the manual and we're good to go!

it'd be great if you would make a tiny version with just one of the 6 flutes,Gregjazz wrote:Aiming to have it out by the end of the month. (with a tiny price, around maybe $25/$30 ?)
it'd allow (the increasing number of) people who can't afford much these days
to buy a taste of the full thing,
& you would sell such tiny version like tiny hot cakes
& that'd bring you hundreds more new customers for your other libraries too

That's a good idea--maybe a versatile, mid-range flute. Also, I was thinking of sampling a Chinese Hulusi and running that through the Native American flute engine.

Here's a preview of three out of the six flutes included in MesaWinds - Native American Flutes. These were all played live from a two-octave MIDI keyboard.

I agree!
It would be smart on your part to offer separate flute parts for purchase...
I however will be buying the total package for $149
I'm already listing my neighbors vinyl collection to justify the purchase....
ok....
its mine
but thats not important

reallly really really loving the deep section of the demo
I sense a bit of choppiness in the performance amongst the demo
I do mean a bit
