If you have audio working fine via the Delta why do you want to use the X Station audio ? The M-Audio driver is almost certainly the better choice with better latency etc.

alright, i figured it out, it seems the Novation USB Driver is incompatible with the programme. The DirectSound driver causes a crackle, sounds like the problem someone else mentioned in a previous post. But, the MME driver works fine. Picture included in case anyone finds it useful for their setup:

Any replies on "incompatibility" or whatever was going on would still be useful.

Wow, i've got it running as i type with one of Luftrum's presets and a live recording i did, sounds amazing!

Good to hear you got it fixed, sort of. Its great fun to use isn't it :)

only because I need to use headphones! X Station has no problems with latency. Delta1010 drivers are actually awful for Windows 7/64bit, they haven't released a stable fully working fix yet. But that's another story i'll leave at the M-Audio forum...

Ahhh - didn't realise you were on Win7/64 - yes M-Audio are lousy at updating their drivers. Have fun !

Its great to see you guys helping each other out with the individual set-ups and drivers you have.

I was wondering if you had any extraordinary or unexpected results from your work yet - would be great to hear AMBIENT in action ....

Nothing extroadinary, but I have been building a library or ambient created sounds and most pieces of my music will have one piece of ambient in them. Usually finds its way into the openings of the tracks I put up on Soundcloud.

That has some, although mild amounts of Ambient in it... problem is, I cant remember which parts... :?

Having been reminded about Ambient (by this thread) last night, I took one of my tracks and processed the samples through it, then rearranged them into this track. Its a little bit experimental.

Everything except the drums and a tiny bit of the strings was made in Ambient

This is the track the samples were originally from, to give an idea of the difference Ambient can make, not just directly, but through inspiring different uses of sounds and arrangements.
(if you cant tell I really like the plugin)
