just about any synth by H.G. Fortune

Minihost has an adjustable random feature
that you can use on synths that don't have a random
feature.
The oatmeal one is excellent, as is Atlantis.
Zebra and ZebraCM have a script to choose between full random, and a chosen %
so you can get results closer to the preset you chose to modify
just load preset, run the script by loading it as a preset, go for a few dozen times, and study what changes sonically/visibly
very helpful for slow learners like me  :hihi:

Absynth 5 has it's Mutator button - never got much useful, but hey. FM8 can be randomized via it's X/Y grid, I believe. And of course, Reaktor can randomizer/morph between any of it's many, many synths.

Linplug's Albino 3 and Alpha have "Gen" buttons, though pretty useless as you can't, like Massive, take Osc pitch out of the equation.

Rob Papen's Predator has a pretty comprehensive randomizer, never read up on it but I think you can isolate which synth sections get affected, again like Massive.

Tone2's Gladiator has, IMO, the most useful randomizer in terms of producing actual usable patches. Some of the stuff I came up with was better than the factory presets.

Some of Virsyn's stuff had randomizers, can't remember which synths though, and their synths seem like abandonware anyway.

clap of luxury (turning the function off seems to confound many users, including myself on occasion).
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Orion has something build in but it's better then a randomizer; it's called genetics and it 'randomizes' certain values between the settings of two presets you choose. So you effectively build new sounds by combining any two other sounds.
CrimsonWarlock aka TechnoGremlin, Moved to Reason and Rack Extensions exclusively (from Reaper and VSTs) several years ago.

Im still baffled by it.

A RANDOM button ...... on a MAXIMIZER ???

funny thing...

- in the case what would happend if you had a random button to a multi-fx like structured plug-in like izotope ozone for instance ?

:hihi:

I occasionally use the energyXT randomizer, it's the ultimate crash test for any vst!

heartburn and meridian have mutate and breed.

You can do this with any VST.

Just buy a novation MIDI controller and plug it in. All your parameters will do whatever they want, whenever they want it 8)

Its pretty useful and more than just a simple randomizer. 4 variation modes, each randomizing different values, like just OSC 1 & 2, OSC 3, filter, modulation or effects. Never disappointed me with the results :)

Free synth Atlantis from Jeremy Evers also got nice randomization.

Tried it with various banks from different synthesizers. Not many useful results here

In the regular GUI of the old Triangle I, I can't see a "random" button, but there's somewhere a GUI (by Nothernbeat? Not sure) for this synth that includes a "click here to randomize all parameters" button. Anyway, neither the skin nor the synth itself seem to be available anymore  although I think that Rene himself endorsed that skin (or was only for Triangle II ?)...
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

I just know from Square I you have to click on the "Square I" sign in the GUI to randomize, maybe same for Triangle
