Okay, so this thread doesn't get further derailed into some protracted debate about ethics and the distribution of creative commons, henceforth anyone who pursues the argument, whichever side they're on, will be put on *the list* (which would, amongst other unspecified unsavoury delights, mean that they'd not be eligible for any future updates from Mr Wobble's Sound Emporium).

Yea, hakey, I was one of those lazy people who really liked the first patches but did not say anything about them yet. So it is time to say thank you. The volume 1 is really the best preset bank for Synth 1 I have. And I do mean this seriously. So, I am excited to hear about the volume 2. Thanks again.

I'm kind of used to expecting sequels to be letdowns or at least not as good as the original. But the second Wobble is a real gem as well. Thanks! Excellent work!

Had downloaded it a while ago but only checked it now (wanted to know what all the fuss was about with this second bank) and I have to hand it to you, this is one of the best Synth1 banks I've ever heard. Love the vibes, awesome pads, the 808 chords, love 'em.
Great work and very generous of you to offer at no cost.

Thanks for the comments everyone, they're much appreciated.
Just to be clear, though I can see how the impression may have been given, there's no explicit rule saying that in order to get the link for Vol 2 people must first post their thanks and appreciation for Vol 1 in this thread. A simple, polite PM to me will suffice.
That said, I do really enjoy reading comments - so, by all means keep 'em coming. Just don't feel that it's compulsory

Saw this thread in the "recent posts", and thought i'd try the bank. Wow! I knew Synth1 had potential, and ive always thought the sounds good, and usable. But this bank steps it up a notch, for sure! I love the pads! They are just as gooey and smooth as i want them, and just enough movement to make them interesting without changing into new sounds. Very nice work! Yea, i'd love the next one too. I'll send you a PM. I read a couple of pages of the thread, and i saw your above post. I dont mind saying what i think here, though. The way i get turned on to new patches/instruments is to hear what other people think, so it's a PSA as well.

Hakey, thanks for these great banks. Both volumes of Mr. Wobble have lots of useful sounds. I am going through Volume 2 now and finding some great pads, strings, electric pianos, and lots more. Thanks again for sharing these!

That is just awesome. I wish I could put something together like that.rifftrax wrote:OK OK. I'll comment.hakey wrote:@ Everyone who left the nice comments - I've just compiled a mini patchbank from some bits and pieces I had left over. 30+ patches - half pads, the rest odds and sods. A couple of interesting sounds amongst them (least ways, I think they're okay):

(The latest version of the original bank is in there too - I've tweaked a few patches, mainly eqing.)
