Concerning the upgade purchase option Peter said this in an email where I just transfered Stringer to a new owner...

"Concerning upgrades: we'll put them again once we've cleaned up the monstrous mess here; unfortunately everyone had the great idea to send personal messages as response to the newsletter, which gave us several hundred mails mixed up with orders and everything, and about 100 upgrades within just 20 minutes; but there's no hurry for upgrading since the special offer lasts until end of the year"

I guess I'll have to wait then..

Sorry that we had to temporary deactivate upgrades; it will be back soon; your license mails should be delivered immediatly (powered by IPN/mailserver)

It however can happen that your mail provider blocks incoming mails from unknown senders; in that case just contact us for manual delivery

I didn't try the demo since i have upgraded from the old OP-X Pro version but if it works like you described it's really not nice.
I hate such demos where you could barely press a note before some noise burst etc. comes...

Anyway OP-X Pro was and is one of the most "analog" sounding softsynths available (together with TimewARP 2600 IMO) and AFAIK as an emulation it's almost perfect. With the update it's just better now.

+1 - the great collection of demo tracks blew me away!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole site blew me away. It's so complete and informational, with tons of videos and demos. Also, I didn't know that there was a Version 2.0 in plan!

Somehow, I appreciate this "surprise" thread more than the likes of imposcar2 topics: which have tons of disappointed, pointless comments, and it isn't even as half as ready, like this OP-X.

There will be another synth soon from a well known company. They managed to give almost no informations to the public so far. I am NOT talking about PPG Wave 3.V but development of that one is quite far too.

In fact all licenses should be sent immediatly after purchase, automatically (by paypal IPN); unfortunately some mailservers seem to block those mails; it was kind of an experiment to handle all the upgrades, but if it does not work reliably we'll change back to manual sending (but then we have to portion upgrades to be able to handle them); the system itself works fine, it's just a problem of the mailserver that sends the licenses

So if you didn't receive your license yet please contact us for manual re-delivery; as I've read here it seems to have worked for many, but I don't know yet for how many had theit mailserver blocking the license mails

Hi Peter,

Congratulations to the publication of the OP-X Pro II. For me as a controller freak, the current best VST synthesizer. The fetch function for the knobs is awesome. I believe, a milestone in the history of the plugins. I know of no other VST plugin that has this capability. The sounds are brilliant. Everything is perfect.

The relative and fetched response feature is probably something most users only will discover anytime later...

Btw, since the demo version obviously seems to be hated quite a bit we've uploaded alternative demo versions for both VSTi and VFX featuring just random audio offs and no noise/pitch stuff - so you can choose

As it looks we will be able to re-launch the upgrades this afternoon

Upgraders:
Lisenses are sent immediatly and automatically; so if you didn't receive your license mail please contact us by email for manual re-delivery; if you haven't received it until now your mailserver has rejected the mail
