Yup, I should have put a smillie face after such a sarcastic sentence. Sorry Peter.

I use AT3 every day as a Vsti and one of a few annoyances is that with Jbridge you can not see what your typing when saving a preset, AT3 just disappears when you try to place the cursor in the box for the preset name, you can type unseen then click on cubase and it pops back to be saved, it's OK most of the time, but if you make an error typing and want to correct it really can become very tricky, took a while to work it out. It can be fixed in jbridge options by seperating Gui, but this itself brings other problems.
After a while it all gets under the skin. I really hope I dont have to wait too long, as AT4 must be very far away given how recent the release of AT3 was.

Koolkeys I know what you say is right,though some upgrades are paid for, but it's not a great bussiness model, when so many other companies are dealing with it in such a different way. I would willing pay for a 64 bit upgrade and yes I am waiting for a 64 bit version of Amplitube and dont believe I ever said anything about being owed anything. I would just like to know when, if ever so I can plan, for me the Tone of AT3 is better than NI's Guitar Rig so for me the wait goes on and I will continue to use jbridge.

No worries dude, I understand exactly what you are saying. It's bizarre to me that x64 is such a widely varied debate. Seems like it should be so simple. Guess not

The Windows on Windows bridge is such a successfull piece of software, I sometimes think it clouds the issue, can you imagine what it would be like without it, everybody who had 64 Os would have to run 64 bit software. One day Microsoft will remove it, but not for a long while.

But no upgrade has promised 64-bit support. Nobody has paid for 64-bit support. They paid for the condition of the software when they bought it. It is NEVER a good idea to buy software based on what it might become.

My post wasn't aimed at you, but just a general observation.

I believe that wanting to know how much interest IK has in 64-bit is perfectly fair. Getting upset or feeling slighted in some way if they are NOT ready yet, isn't fair. So that was my primary point.

I promise, I want 64-bit as much as anyone here, probably more than most.

Shame really got a nice email via audiomidi for free IK Eq. Downloaded installed and bridged - failed. Uninstalled, dont really need it but was looking forward to exploring. Just means IK is off my radar.

x64 more of personal satisfaction and reduction in Cubase + Kontakt overloading (crashing), has led me to the 64bit culture (and MS sending me a free copy of W7x64Ultimate-TY).

So for me personally I don't want new projects in x32 and x64, so I stick with x64.

Would've have been nice to have a play.

As a x64 user if it aint x64 doesn't worry me...I simply dont use/buy it unless of course it works....need, want or have I am sure in the future IK will go x64. Many systems now pre installed with x64 even basic laptops.

the future is now, i guess.

Another reason IK should have a forum.
Dont know what version of cubase your using, if it's 5.5.1 you should not need to do this, though it may still help. Previous versions definately need this to run IK plugs --- particularly 5.5.
Right click cubase x64 short cut , go to properties, then compatibility and put a tick in "Run this program as administrator".

If you expected Cubase bridge to work, I can only say even in it's updated form it is very poor at it's job. Reapers bridge in comparison is excellent,
the only reliable way to run 32 bit plugs in Cubase x64 is with Jbridge.

It costs 14.99 Euros and for the money is well worth it, but try the demo first.

If you know all this already, then sorry, but I can run all T-Racks Standard and singles with few problems.

FWIW, I know they don't care, but they lost sales with me, went with competing products simply because of their lack of acknowledgment on this issue. I'm sure I'm not alone thought.

Good news then. I stumbled upon this thread googling, and was left under the impression that x64 support was way, way down in the priority list...

Problem is workflow oriented, only fix possible is to get native x64.
