there's an oxymoron musicians friend, they are no friend of mine

Oh, I got all huffy about a return a while back ago.....I'm over it now and realize I'll just have to pain the shipping if I return it. Anyways, there not so bad. (I have their 0% finance card)Hink wrote:there's an oxymoron musicians friend, they are no friend of mine

I wont even get into the issues I have had with them, but if I'm to believe them it's because twice when I placed an order (and paid for 2-day shipping) they were moving their warehouse. I still have the same "credit" they gave me for one issue 3 or 4 years ago, months after the second time I got an email with 20% off anything from this corporate guy. (no expiration he said, I never checked) I called him and told him crappy they treated me and he could keep his 20% off and he said the was a credit for 35 dollars and it would be there in my name as long as they were open...only if they are the very last possible choice for something (and I'm going to have to really need it and really want it) would I even consider giving them more than a buck and then I still might not (I did buy a nut GC since). That includes their other stores too like 123 and Sam Ash

I've got that certain feeling...

From http://www.aristidesinstruments.com. Good thing is they're right around the corner... still I never heard of them until today. The reviews are pretty enthusiastic!

One time I needed money so I could eat so I put something on craigslist to sell. Within a coupla hours Musician's Friend had used a proxy to advertise the same item for one cent less. So I edited my post to beat their price by one cent, indicating 'I'm local, no wait for shipping'. They systematically (via a bot given just how fast this occurred) flagged me and my post was removed.
Definitely not my friend.

Trying not to
but considering I can get one (apparently they are LE) it's hard to say no
. Hopefully I'll wait, they'll sell out and I'll save the money
Oh yes, every since getting the other one and have been over at the ibanez forum I've become a total HO for ibanez......something about them just has my lust working overtime

Its Japam for you mate! Paul Gilbert is canadian and collects them with a true obcession. Maybe its in your genetic make up hibidy?
Someone will buy one and decide they do not like it and thats when you will get a fair price
LE models are pure marketing heaven and just baited traps pimped at us all
Edit: hibidy my friend, this is not what you want to end up doing is it?
Leave them forums and forget about japam. Japam you may wonder?
