Not sampled just yet, I'm getting everything ready so it'll sound as good as possible. I wanted to get the update finished first anyway, while I get things ready for the guitar. Everything should be good to go within a few days!

Dang, another last minute addition! On the layer page, I'm adding a label that identifies the main change that the layer makes. For example, it would tell you the articulation that it changes... or if it's not an articulation, it will display whatever else that's different about the layer. Helpful, huh?

Hello, Greg,

I got the email and the instructions say to "place this RAR file directly outside of the "Evolution Electric Guitar - Strawberry" folder, and use the "Extract here" option when extracting the RAR. It should overwrite existing preset files and documentation."

I'm not getting that option. I'm on Mac OSX 10.6.4.

If I open the .rar, I see a Documentation folder, a Presets folder and a Wallpaper folder. Should I just drag those into the Evolution Electric Guitar - Strawberry folder and overwrite those folder when it pops up?

I'm on OS X as well and have to use a third-party program (The Unarchiver) to handle RAR archives. Unfortunately, it never overwrites files the way I expect it to (if a folder with the same name already exists, it creates a new one and appends a "-1" at the end). So for the update, I just deleted the previous Documentation, Presets, and Wallpaper folders (leaving just the Samples folder). Then I unarchived the update into a separate folder and moved the new folders back into the original Evolution Electric Guitar - Strawberry folder. Not sure if I'm missing anything by doing it this way, but things seem to work.

Edit: BTW, awesome job Greg! I've been waiting for this update and I finally feel that my electric guitar needs have been met.

Sure, that seems like that option would work fine! You know you've done it right when the patches load without a "missing samples" error.
